Why to Use a Taxi in Edmonton Over the Christmas Period

Are you looking forward to the build-up to Christmas, but dreading having to drive in the dark and rain? Do you have plenty of Christmas parties and other functions to attend, but aren’t sure whether to be the designated driver, or have just one drink?

If either of these problems have been haunting you recently, then you may wish to think about making use of a taxi in Edmonton. At a time where many people feel stressed and are likely to be busier than ever, why not choose to take a taxi in Edmonton over the festive period?

Here is a list of reasons why, if you still aren’t convinced:

Drinking and driving: Don’t do it!

Many of us will associate Christmas as a time for being with relatives and loved ones, but it is often also the time where people will foolishly drive after consuming alcohol. Not only is this putting themselves at risk, but it also putting other road users, passengers, cyclists and others in danger.

If you are planning to even have one drink, then plan to leave your car at home. When you take into account the possible problems of drinking and driving, such as causing an accident, being heavily fined, having your licence taken away, or potentially even arrested, a taxi in Edmonton might not seem like such a bad idea.

Relax

As the nights become longer and the days shorter, many people will often find themselves rushing around trying to see all of their friends, family, relations and other associates in time for Christmas.

Driving when you are feeling stressed, or agitated is never recommended, particularly if you are in an unfamiliar spot. You may want to think about using a taxi in Edmonton to wind down after a busy day in the office, using it as a chance to relax instead of being frustrated with the congested roads.

Weather conditions

Lastly on our list of why to use a taxi in Edmonton over the festive period is the changeable weather conditions. Driving in the ice or snow can be particularly dangerous for drivers who are not used to the conditions. Even if you are an experienced driver, it only takes another driver to take a spin and it could be your car they crash into.

Remove all of these possible problems by taking a taxi in Edmonton, and relax more this Christmas.

Reasons to Choose Co-op Taxi for Your Edmonton Yellow Cabs

The next time you are looking to hail a ride and you are thinking of Edmonton yellow cabs, here are some of the top reasons to choose Co-op Taxi.

History

The Alberta Co-op Taxi company was established back in 1971, with the idea that taxi drivers should have more influence on the business that they work for.

What started out as just three taxi drivers has blossomed into Edmonton's largest taxi company, with over 500 vehicles and close to 850 drivers. This works out to over 5 million calls a year, which is a lot of taxis!

Driver owned

So what are the benefits of having a driver owned company, as oppose to a more standard business model of a holding company or owner.

Being driver owned means that all drivers are fully committed to the company, and have an added reason to ensure that the level of service and professionalism is kept to the highest standard.

By having 98 shareholders electing 5 directors to help run the company, there is a democratic streak throughout the business which helps everyone have their voice heard.

Professionalism

One of the qualities that is most important to passengers when choosing Edmonton yellow cabs, is the level of professionalism that is provided to all clients and customers on a daily basis.  Co-op Taxi delivers this in spades.

While some of us may have had poor experiences with various Edmonton yellow cabs in the past, if you can remember which company they were from, they were likely not part of the co-op.By maintaining such a high level of professionalism, the company has continued to grow, while also leading the industry by example on conduct, approachability and reliability.

Computerized fleet

Always on the forefront of innovation and technology, Co-op Taxi's Edmonton yellow cabs were only the second fleet in the whole of North America to computerize their cabs.

By engaging with state of the art technology, the Co-op Taxi company is able to ensure that communication between the driver and control room is always of the highest standard, while also being able to track the entire fleet to avoid delays and other problems.

Reliability

When taking your Edmonton yellow cabs, one of the areas you may be most concerned about is how reliable the company is.

Particularly so if you are getting a taxi to the airport, the last thing that you want is for your taxi to be late, or even worse for it not to show at all. These mistakes can cost you dearly, and at the Co-op Taxi company all drivers and staff understand just how important it is to be reliable, as they lead the way for punctuality.

Value for money

The last reason to choose the Co-op Taxi company is the value for money that they provide. Ensuring that high quality service is also affordable has been one of the main reasons that the company has continued to grow and looks set to continue its rise.

Edmonton Yellow Cabs: Tips For A Pleasant Journey

Whether you are taking a taxi in New York, or making use of Edmonton yellow cabs, there are a number of different things you can do to ensure that your trip is a pleasant and agreeable one.

Taxi rides, like any other form of transport, do not always go entirely to plan, so ensuring that you do everything possible to make your trip enjoyable is a smart move.

1. Reserve the taxi beforehand

Although this sounds like an obvious tip for having a pleasant journey, ensuring that you have reserved your taxi a sufficient amount of time in advance will help to prevent any last minute rushes or panics. Particularly when using Edmonton yellow cabs, or other taxis, on a busy weekend night, or for an airport run, you don’t want to run the risk of being late for your appointment or flight.

There is now more ways than ever to book Edmonton yellow cabs, with mobile phone applications being the latest development. With its ease and simplicity, a few clicks of a button can reserve you a taxi ahead of schedule and with minimum hassle, leaving you free to enjoy your time.

2. Know where you are going

Ensure that you have the address of your intended destination, rather than relying on landmarks that are nearby. With the actual street address Edmonton yellow cabs are able to input this information on to their GPS or satellite navigation and be guided to your destination along the quickest route.

Not providing the address, but instead relying on directing the driver is not a smart move, as not only can you confuse the driver, but it is a more dangerous practice as part of their attention is diverted away from the road.

3. Talk to the driver

Being courteous to the driver should be a formality, but sadly this is not always the case as customers may take one bad experience in the past and group all tax drivers together.  Even if you are happy to sit in silence, at least saying hello and acknowledging them will be greatly appreciated, as they are a service industry just like any another, and hugely appreciate both tips and positive conversation.

4. Contact the taxi company for feedback on any issues

If you do experience any negativity when using Edmonton yellow cabs or any other type of taxi, then the smart thing to do is to contact the company and give them your feedback as soon as possible.

If there is one taxi driver who is verbally abusive, driving dangerously, or another issue, then it is important to notify the company immediately.By reporting any malpractice you are helping the taxi community to keep their standards high, while also helping to prevent your experience from happening to another customer.

By following these tips you are far more likely to experience a pleasant and laid back journey, while also helping to improve the relationship between the taxi driver and the customer.

CO-OP Taxi listened to the concerns of the their customers and they found out that one of the major annoyances when hailing Edmonton yellow cabs is not knowing how much your journey is going to cost beforehand. This is a thing of the past with this application, as it allows you to get a fare estimate just by entering your location and your intended destination, allowing you to weigh up whether or not to book a taxi.

Once booking the taxi through the app you will receive a confirmation of your booking, which will also provide a confirmation number. This allows you to easily check that the booking has gone through the system, and also to track it.

Wondering why your taxi is taking so long, or wondering if it is even going to turn up at all? Then don’t stress, as the application has a built in progress report, allowing you to follow your vehicles progress on a map. This is a nifty feature that reduces the potential anxiety of waiting, particularly if you are heading somewhere that you can’t be late for, such as an airport or important business meeting.

Another feature of the mobile application is that you are able to review all reservations over the past month, allowing you to easily reference taxi journeys for expense claims and other reasons.

To download the free app all you need to do is create an account with an email address, name, phone number and password and then validate your account via a confirmation email. You can then log in to the application and you are ready to start using it.

Available on both Google Play for Android powered phones, or via the Apple App Store for iPhones, there is a version of the application to fit almost any smartphone user. Why not give it a download today and see how much quicker, simpler and easier it is to hail Edmonton yellow cabs.

Edmonton Taxi Tips

If you are in Edmonton without a car, and need to get around, then your best bet is to get a taxi. A taxi in Edmonton is a superior mode of transport compared to public transit. Public transit is fine for some occasions, but lacks the advantages of a taxi in Edmonton. Those main advantages being that you will be brought directly to your destination in a professional and comfortable manner at whatever time you choose.

Public transit lacks all of the above, as it adheres to a schedule – although it is often late -- and it only runs during certain times. There is also no guarantee that you will be able to get a seat when you avail yourself of the public transit system in Edmonton, meaning your ride will not be particularly comfortable. Other obstacles can get in the way of public transit too, which generally don’t happen with taxis in Edmonton, such as strikes and communication systems breaking down.

So, now that we have concluded that a taxi in Edmonton certainly is the best option, how does one avail oneself of a cab? There are a few ways to do this and they are all extremely simple.

Call a Taxi In Edmonton

Calling a taxi in Edmonton is probably the most common way to get one. Many locals will have the number of an Edmonton taxi firm stored in their cell phone, or stuck to their refrigerator. If you have not already done this, then you probably should, as you never know when you might need a taxi in Edmonton. Simply dial the number and tell them the time and place that you need to be picked up at. Most firms will ask for a number at which to contact you, in case they can't find you.

Hail a Taxi From The Street

If you want an Edmonton taxi straight away, you can hail one for the street if there are any around. This isn't without risk, but generally Edmonton is a safe place to do this. Look for a taxi from a well-respected cab firm like Co-Op Taxi and you can always ask to see their paper work up close, which they should be displaying anyway. For an extra safety measure you can take down the licence plate of the Edmonton taxi and text it to a friend or family member.

Taxis in Edmonton are plentiful and a safe and easy way to navigate the city.

Book a Taxi Online

Some taxi firms, like Co-Op Taxi, have added online booking to their websites.  When you need a taxi in Edmonton, simply visit the website, fill out the easy booking form with your pickup address and time, as well as your name and phone number, and you’re done!  Your taxi will arrive as scheduled to get you to where you need to go.

Edmonton Cabs

The word on the street is that Edmonton cabs are some of the best taxis in Canada. Why is this? Edmonton cabs are certainly the best way to get around this Alberta city. Yes, there is public transport, but it does not service every corner and does not run all day. A car is really the option that is needed to get you safely and conveniently from one place to the next with minimal effort. And minimal effort is exactly what you will get when you hire Edmonton cabs.

It might be the case that you just can’t justify the cost of owning your own car, as you don’t need to use one frequently. Or maybe you do have your own personal vehicle but you don’t want to leave it parked somewhere, or you might be going to the airport on a one way trip. Getting an Edmonton cab will require minimal effort, as the cab driver will do all of the work and you don’t need to worry about things like parking.

So, what is it about Edmonton cabs that makes them the best in Canada?

Safety

Edmonton cabs from a firm like Co-Op Taxi are proven to be safe to drive in. The cars are tested regularly for faults by the best mechanics in town and are frequently serviced. The drivers also have clean licenses and are extremely cautious at all times on Edmonton roads. They are used to driving in different types of weather and are familiar with the streets, as they drive them every day. It is much safer to go with Edmonton cabs if you are visiting the city, rather than to rent a car, as you will not know the roads like the drivers of Edmonton cabs do.

Comfort
Not only are the cabs used in Edmonton extremely safe, they are also ridiculously comfortable. It will be a breeze for you getting from one place to the next in a nice and roomy vehicle. All you need to do is sit back and relax and let the driver take you where you need to go. No need to have to be on alert all the time, navigating through the busy streets of Edmonton, your cab driver will take the reins instead.

Friendly

With Edmonton cabs you get service with a smile. Like the majority of folks in Edmonton, the cab drivers there are super friendly. You will find that the person behind the wheel of your taxi is professional, courteous and helpful and will often offer you tips relating to the city, if you are just visiting.

So as you can see, Edmonton cabs really are the best way to get around when you are in the city. They are great value, in terms of the quality of the service you receive, and take the stress out of traveling in Edmonton. Next time you are in the city, call a cab and see how easy, comfortable and reliable Edmonton cabs are.

The Advantages of Getting an Airport Taxi in Edmonton

Getting to and from the airport in Edmonton can be stressful, if you let it. Driving means you may take a long time finding a parking spot and then you will pay costly fees to keep it there until your return. And if you are going out of town for a long time then you may max out the time limit and have nowhere to leave your car once you get to the airport.

Getting public transport may save you money, but the schedules may not match up with your flights, meaning you will have to be there extremely early and probably end up spending more money at the airport on coffee and snacks than you would if you had arrived in a comfortable time frame. The other disadvantage is that you may be late for your flight and end up missing it, losing out on a lot of money. If you are arriving to Edmonton airport then you could arrive too early, or late for public transport and either have to hang around arrivals for as long as possible or book a room in an expensive airport hotel.

The simple solution to this is to get an airport taxi in Edmonton. An airport taxi in Edmonton really is the best way to get to and from Edmonton airport. Firstly, it is good value. Most firms will agree on a flat fare to and from the airport that has been fairly priced. Also, because of the fact that you will be at the airport in a timely manner, you will not be hanging around and spending a lot of money, or have to pay for a new flight because you missed the original one.

An airport taxi in Edmonton is so much easier than driving your own car. You will not need to find or pay for parking and will be dropped straight to the departures door. You will also be able to comfortably store your luggage in the trunk of the car. An airport taxi in Edmonton will be able to drop you off or pick you up at any time of the day or night making it the most flexible option too.

So the next time you are coming to, or leaving Edmonton via the airport then make sure to organize an airport taxi. This can be done ahead of time online, or by calling the firm and they will meet you at home, or when your flight lands at the airport.

Reasons to choose a taxi service in Edmonton over ride sharing applications

The taxi service in Edmonton has a long and respectable history and with the sudden advent of car sharing applications, such as Lyft and Uber, the service has been put in jeopardy. While the applications, which are accessible with the use of a smartphone, may be cheaper at times, there are a number of reasons why the taxi service in Edmonton is likely to emerge on the other side unscathed.

Safety and security

One of the biggest fears and criticisms of these ride sharing applications is that they do not do enough to protect the safety and security of their passengers. As the drivers are only lightly vetted electronically and there are no commercial licences or regulation, there is the chance for this to be exploited in a number of ways. One of the most concerning things is the thought that if something does go wrong, or you have a complaint to make, then there is no local office nearby where you can discuss the issue, which could leave you high and dry.

The taxi service in Edmonton, and indeed in other cities across Canada, is closely monitored and regulated to ensure that employees are abiding by the relevant laws, along with all of the necessary licences. This helps to reduce any potential safety or security problems, while also giving the taxi rider increased reassurance that their ride is a safe one.

Reliability

Frequent users of the taxi service in Edmonton will be able to advise that the reliability is second to none. It also gives you peace of mind that your taxi will pick you up at your location on time, contrasting with the ride sharing applications, which are far more sporadic in their punctuality.

Being late may not be the end of the world if you are getting a lift to a friend’s house, but if you are on your way to the airport or to work, for example, then having a ride show up late, or not at all, can be catastrophic for your plans.

In summary
While the taxi service in Edmonton may not be perfect, it does provide a safer and more reliable way of commuting around the city. While the ongoing legal battles over the correct type of regulation and laws that should be applied to these mobile applications continues, you are better off sticking to the safety, security and reliability of the taxi service in Edmonton.

The top 5 reasons to book an airport taxi in Edmonton

Getting to the airport and back again can be a stressful experience at the best of times, but one way to alleviate this is to take an airport taxi in Edmonton.

For something that can cause so much stress, with the potential to completely ruin your holiday, it is strange how little emphasis is put on arriving to the airport on time and safely. There are a number of different reasons why we would recommend booking an airport taxi in Edmonton, so here are our top 4:

Reason 1 – Less stress

If you have taken at least a handful of flights in the past, then you can most likely relate to the mad panic and last minute rushing around when you are running late for check-in. Quite often this will be caused by public transport problems, or even getting lost on the way to the airport, and it’s a terrible way to start, or end a holiday.

Reason 2 – Convenience

Another key reason for booking an airport taxi in Edmonton is the convenience that it provides. Having a reliable and safe passage of travel will ensure that you arrive at the airport for your desired time, and without having to lug your entire luggage around on a busy bus or train. It also allows you to be picked up at your house and dropped directly at the airport, making the trip simple, worry-free and convenient.

Reason 3 – Avoid scams

Although this may not apply distinctly to booking an airport taxi in Edmonton, scams do exist in many large airports and it is always safer to deal directly with a taxi company, preferably before arriving. Pre-booking your taxi with a reputable company will help you avoid scams where fake taxi drivers pick up unknowing tourists and overcharge them, or possibly even worse.

Reason 4 – Save time

The last reason and perhaps one of the most important, is how much time you will save by booking an airport taxi in Edmonton. As the saying goes, ‘time is money’, so why waste hours of your vacation working out bus routes or train timetables? Start and end your holiday in relaxing style by booking an airport taxi from Edmonton.

Getting around Edmonton, Alberta

Edmonton is a Canadian city located in the province of Alberta. It has the fifth highest population of a Canadian city and is known as the “Gateway to the North”, due to its location.

There are many reasons to visit Edmonton, whether it is to work in the oil industry of Alberta, or to experience the city of Edmonton itself. With a host of exciting activities and events always happening, Edmonton promises and good time. For example, nicknamed “Canada’s Festival City”, it has festivals occurring all year. The city is also home to North America’s biggest mall and an incredible living history museum. When you are in Edmonton, the choice is so varied that all you really need to worry about is finding a way to get there and then get around.

Edmonton has an airport for access from many Canadian and international cities and you can also get there by train or car if you live closer. Once you arrive in the city there are a few options for getting around, but one stands out above the rest in Edmonton and that is a taxi service. The city of Edmonton is serviced by public transit, but this does not offer the flexibility and comfort of a taxi service in Edmonton. A taxi service in Edmonton will get you from A to B at the time you need it to, while transit won’t run all night and the stop may be some distance from your final destination.

When visiting Edmonton, have a taxi service pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel with minimum effort. You can also use a taxi service in Edmonton to get to all the events and activities you have planned, without the concern that comes with renting a car or using transit. A taxi service in Edmonton is a fantastic way to see all that the city has to offer.

What To Look For in a Taxi in Edmonton

In Edmonton, a car is the best way to get around and taking a taxi in Edmonton is even better. The city is served by public transport but it doesn’t run late at night, nor does it drop you exactly at your destination like a taxi in Edmonton can. Another benefit to getting a taxi in Edmonton over driving somewhere yourself is that you won’t need to look for, or pay for, parking and we’ve all spent hours driving around town looking for that one free spot to no avail.

However, there are indeed many taxi firms in Edmonton, so how do you know which one to choose? We’ve put together a few tips to help you make the right decision when it comes to picking a taxi in Edmonton.
First you need to make sure that the fleet consists of only the best maintained cars in the city. A good firm will keep their cars in service and get repairs done as soon as they are needed. The cars in your Edmonton taxi fleet should be relatively new and have the right seasonal tires.

Secondly, your driver has to be as good as the taxi that he or she is driving. They should have many years of experience driving a taxi and know all of the streets in Edmonton. As well, they should also have a friendly, yet professional demeanor in order to make your journey as pleasant as possible.

Last, but not least, you want your taxi ride to be a good value. Be prepared to pay a fair price, but nothing extortionate. Question the cost if you believe it is too high, or if you are satisfied with the price and the journey then consider adding a tip for your taxi driver.

As the city is in Northern Canada, a car provides many practicalities, especially in the cold winter months, when waiting for a bus can be almost unbearable. Traveling by car minimizes time spent outside as you can be dropped straight to your door.

The Best Features of an Airport Taxi

An airport is a means to an end, not a place you really want to spend an extended amount of time in. Between lining up for tickets and baggage, getting though customs and other areas, all whilst dragging a suitcase, it can really test your patience. Once you have arrived or landed, you probably want to get out of there as soon as possible. Thankfully, once you get an airport taxi that can be a pretty simple task.

There are many great things to be said for getting a cab. Some of the best features of an airport taxi fall into the categories of convenience and reliability.  Although airports are sometimes served by other modes of transport, there really is no better way of getting to or from one than by cab. Here are some of the best features of an airport taxi:

No time restrictions

Many flights take place at inconvenient times. Especially if you are travelling with a budget airline or to a destination that is far away. You could be taking off or landing in the early hours of the morning or extremely late at night. It is most likely the case that even if public transport does serve the airport, it doesn’t run at this time. Or even if it does, it might not be safe to arrive in a new place, or get to the nearest station at this time. A taxi to or from the airport is available 24/7, so you do not need to worry about timing issues.

Drop you to your destination

Unlike public transport, your taxi will drop you right to the door of where you want to go. Door to door service to or from the airport is one a taxi’s best features. You will not have to drag your luggage long distances, meaning you don’t need to worry about having to pack light and sacrifice bringing essentials on your vacation, or business trip.

Not disturbing others’ schedules

Sure, you could ask your friends or family to give you a ride to or from the airport. That might work out once or twice but if you are a frequent traveler, it can be quite inconvenient for them. The beauty of availing yourself of a taxi service is that you are not annoying others to work their schedules around you. An airport taxi driver will efficiently bring you there and back; making everyone involved a winner in this situation.

The Reasons for Booking Taxis Online

Taxis have been around for hundreds of years, and while the service they offer remains relatively the same, the methods by which we may book them is slowly evolving,

Hailing a cab in the street was one of the first ways to get a ride, and later with the invention of phones, people were able to call the taxi companies to reserve or request their cabs. Fast forward further still, and the invention of the internet has made booking taxis online a simple and cost effective way of securing your passage of travel.

There are a number of reasons why you should be booking taxis online; listed below are some of the top reasons and benefits:

Ease of use

Firstly, the ease of booking taxis online is one of the biggest draws. A simple search of the internet will bring up a host of options, allowing you to pick and choose which service is the best price, or value for your needs.

Saving you money
Although not many people are actually aware of this, booking taxis online will usually save you money. Many websites offer discounts to customers, and the rate you are provided with is usually cheaper than you would be quoted over the phone, or by hailing a taxi.  Hailing a taxi often incurs an extra surcharge, so by booking online you are able to circumvent this to get a better deal.

Increased reliability
Many of you will be able to relate to that feeling of waiting for a taxi, worrying whether it is going to show up or not. This can be a stressful experience, particularly if you are waiting for a lift to the airport.

With booking taxis online, however, your reliability is increased, as you will receive a reference number that can be traced and tracked with the company. Booking online also ensures that the details are delivered straight into the system, reducing the chance of the taxi not showing up at the correct time or place.

The ability to compare prices
Using the internet for booking taxis online also allows you to quickly and easily compare prices of different companies. If you are taking a long journey then there can be a surprisingly large difference in the price, so it is worth taking the time to compare.

Having a set price

Another money-oriented positive of booking taxis online is that you may be given a set price. Hailing a cab, or even ordering by phone will usually only give you estimates of the cost. Knowing the exact price will allow you to ensure that you have the right money and that there are no nasty surprises when you come to pay.

Safety
Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, is that booking taxis online is a safer choice then the other options. Booking online will ensure the taxi is accredited and legitimate, and will also ensure you are able to trace back to the driver if you experience any problems with your ride.

Edmonton Taxi and Cabs - How they have changed over the Years

In Edmonton, Taxi and Cabs have revolutionized the way we go about our day to day business, but they have also developed a lot since they were first invented.

In both Paris and London there were horse-drawn for-hire taxis known as Hackney Carriages, operating as early as the 17th century, with the first of these documented back in 1605 in London.

The next major development was not until the mid-1800’s, when an architect from York designed the Hansom Cab. They were light enough to be pulled by just one horse, as opposed to several, and the efficiency of this ensured it quickly became the norm worldwide.

Then came the invention of the Taximeter in 1981 which was an electronic device that calculated passenger fares judged by the distance and time. This is where the name ‘taxi’ emerges from, and it has shaped the future of the industry to this day.

While in Edmonton taxi and cabs do not have a notable design or style, such as you would find in New York, or England for example, there is still a worldwide standard practice for taxis, which has been unchallenged until now.

The rise and possible fall of Uber

The latest development with Edmonton Taxi and Cabs, as in other areas, is the recent rise of the mobile application Uber.

Uber allows anyone with a car and a smartphone to taxi people around, with the mobile application taking a cut of the money.

Currently undergoing various different court battles with countries and cities alike, it remains to be seen if this will become the future for Edmonton Taxi and Cabs and elsewhere, or whether it is just a brief development in the history of the taxi. Only time will tell.

The taxi service in Edmonton battles mobile app Uber, will there be a winner?

The streets of Edmonton have been divided in a legal dual that is happening not just in Edmonton, but also across Canada and others parts of the world.

The battle lines have been drawn, with the licenced taxi service in Edmonton facing off against the new and largely unregulated challenger, Uber. Much has been made about the meteoric rise of the mobile app, with controversies and lawsuits rife.

The City of Edmonton is attempting to impose an injunction on Uber to cease operations in the city, a move which has already happened in Germany, where they have issued a nationwide ban on the popular smartphone application.

Other countries such as India are also in the process of trying to halt its dramatic rise, a move that the local taxi service in Edmonton hopes is imitated throughout Canada.

The differences between Uber and a taxi

Most people will have some experience with the taxi service in Edmonton or other cities in Canada, where the procedure is as old as the taxi business itself. You can call or hail a licenced taxi which will then take you to your specified location, with the driver requiring a taxi licence to operate.

Uber is slightly different, as it offers anyone with a car the opportunity to earn money by matching people who need a lift, with ones who are offering the service for payment. This has its own safety implications, as recent stories of assault and harassment have emerged in various countries.

Benefits of Taxi Service in Edmonton

The taxi service in Edmonton, to use as a prime example, has been in place for generations and with that history comes a trust and accountability between the consumer and the taxi service. Uber may yet shake things up, but for a safe and reliable ride, using the licenced taxi service in Edmonton is highly recommended.
